Vanguard Properties, Iberdrola and Porsche team up to promote sustainable mobility in Comporta

Vanguard Properties, in partnership with Iberdrola and Porsche, has announced an agreement to install electric chargers at the Dunas Golf Course | Terras da Comporta, as part of Vanguard Properties' strategy for its Comporta project, which aims to create sustainable and innovative solutions, while promoting electric mobility.

This agreement is another step towards implementing Vanguard Properties’ ambitious sustainability plan, which has seen the adoption of various measures to encourage sustainability and energy efficiency in the Comporta region. Measures already announced include the use of ecological building materials, the implementation of state-of-the-art water management systems, energy communities and the promotion of sustainable practices in the region.

Vanguard Properties’ CEO, José Cardoso Botelho, highlighted the importance of this partnership: ‘We’re very excited to be working together with Porsche and Iberdrola. This project not only consolidates our commitment to sustainability, but also offers a practical, high-quality and innovative solution for our residents and visitors. For his part, Nuno Costa, Porsche's marketing manager in Portugal, underlined the importance of this initiative for the brand: ‘For Porsche, sustainability is a company cornerstone, and this agreement with Vanguard Properties allows us to promote the Porsche Destination Charging network (porsche-destination-charging.com), supporting greener and more efficient mobility. We’re very proud to be involved in a project that has a positive impact on both the community and environment.’

Iberdrola will be responsible for installing, operating and maintaining the electric chargers, thus allowing electric vehicle users to conveniently charge their cars while enjoying the facilities of the Dunas Golf Course.
