Vanguard Properties sponsors the Portuguese Golf Federation’s 75th anniversary programme

Today, the Portuguese Golf Federation (PGF) announced Vanguard Properties as the official sponsor for its 75th anniversary celebrations programme. The company, which boasts a highly successful track record in Portugal’s property sector, is now a proud partner of the PGF's commemorations.

For Vanguard Properties, the partnership with the PGF signals further commitment to promote domestic sport, in areas such as tennis, roller hockey and rugby. Sport is a cornerstone of the company’s 'Terras da Comporta' project, which will feature a 'sports city' where 28 sports can be played, in addition to two 18-hole golf courses.    

The PGF has outlined a set of initiatives that, in tandem with Vanguard Properties’ support and collaboration, aims to both commemorate this important event, as well as preserve the historical legacy of the foundation’s work over the years. Some of the initiatives planned for 2024 include producing commemorative booklets, a documentary on the PGF’s history, a collection of CTT stamps, a podcast featuring the foundation’s president interviewing various personalities throughout the year, as well as founding clubs being honoured.
